Hello there! My name is Sheila and I live in a small town in Western Wisconsin. I am a Christian mom, doing the best I can to serve God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I am also a sister, daughter, niece, cousin, friend, girlfriend and co-worker. I love to meet people, so stop on in and have a visit!
I am a single parent and my children are the light of my lives. My son is currently living at home trying to find his direction in life. He is looking for work and trying to decide on school. He has many friends who I have "adopted". He also has 3 - 4 cousins his age that he is very close to. Most weekends (and many week nights) finds my home invaded by young adults laughing, playing games and sitting around the campfire. I sit in my corner and just smile.
My daughter is very active in school and activities. She dances and competes around the state. She is also in band playing two instruments and sings in the choir. She is on the color guard squad and is on the volleyball team. Her friends have also adopted me and I love to be surrounded at functions hearing them all call me "Mom".
While I am a single parent, I am not traveling my journey alone. I have been with my wonderful boyfriend for several years. Honey has been there for me in every phase of my life from extreme happiness to complete sadness to utter despondency and everything in between. He has been a rock and my co-conspirator.
We enjoy many things together, as individuals, as a couple and as a family. Some of my personal hobbies include reading, sewing, scrapbooking, photography and quilting. I am also just learning to knit. I love the simple life and look for ways to infuse our lives with more quality. As a couple and a family, we love to travel as we are financially able, we love to take day trips and weekend road trips along with extended family vacations. We also love museums, concerts, festivals, Renaissance Fairs, and farmer's markets. Our biggest joy though is spending time with Family and Friends. They are our true treasures in life.
