Christmas-ing!

Chaos before beauty! 

Today has been a big day around the little homestead! We have been Christmasing all day! 

Around here that means cleaning, decorating, frosting cookies, and any other Christmas activity we can find. We are getting the first real snow of the year and it really puts me in the mood!

 It is also Sunday and Cookie Monster didn't have to work so that means football too! The Vikings lost so Cookie wasn't very happy, but my Packers won so I was a happy camper!

Go Pack Go!

Of course we didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but it is a good start! The tree isn't up so we will have to do that later in the week but most of the decorating is done. I am trying to limit the glitz and go for more simple, homey things.

Fruits and Veggies! 

I worked with Princess Pea on her knitting this afternoon and played with Luna out in the new snow. We had a munchie kind of day with a veggie tray, fruit, cheese & sausage with crackers and buffalo wings.

Tonight Cookie and his best buddy are taking a road trip to see some of their friends who live about an hour away. This is the first time he has driven so far in the snow, leaving this Mama a nervous wreck! Ugh! Not sure I an handle having an adult child thing.

For the rest of the night I am thinking a glass of wine, a hot shower, and some knitting is in order! And then back to work tomorrow.
